We Almost Died

A couple of weeks ago we took the raft out to Buffalo Pound. It was a super hot day we got out there got the tent set up and the raft blown up and realized.... we forgot the paddles. We booted'er back to Moose Jaw grabbed them and set out on the lake. Then a massive storm blew and I mean FAST. Here we were stuck in the middle of the lake the wind was blowing like mad, it was raining, thundering and lightening. We started to paddle, but to no avale, the wind was taking us further and further away from the beach. There was white caps on the lake from the wind and the beach was still getting further away no matter how hard we paddled. Luckiley a boat came to our rescue and towed us to shore.. if not for them we would still be paddling our way back to our campsite.

Biking

Today Wes and I went for a bike ride. Wakama Valley ...very nice ... lots of trees...very green...
and I got pooped on by a bird, ate a bug, and did a face plant off my bike.

Walmart Sucks

I got some camping pots for Christmas and one of them was defective so I went to the Walmart to take it back as that's where they were purchased at, Vern and Wes came along. Vern also had a camera that was defective so he was going to return that too ...
I was first in the return line and it being a gift I didn't have a receipt .. apparently that is a problem. I kinda made a big deal outta it cause I hate walmart and went on a little rant about the store selling me crap that came broken and how walmart sucks and blah blah blah the lady told me it was because ppl were getting stuff at places like canadian tire and returning it there .. when I was done my ranting, Vern came up walking with his chest all pumped out carrying his receipt like it was a golden ticket, he says "This is how you do it, I have a receipt!" The lady looks at the receipt, casually looks up and says, "Yes and this receipt is from Superstore" .... I almost peed my pants on the way to Canadian Tire to return my camping pots! (and yes they exchanged them for me)
